Author, Arnold Bennetts 1921 journal, Things That Have Interested Me, is a series of miniature essays on subjects ranging from ‘Politics and Morals’, to ‘Sex Equality’.
The three volumes are a cross between journalistic fact reporting and unrepressed opinion. The collection is an early day blog, published by Chatto & Windus, opposed to Tumbler!
Bringing together twelve artists, the curators have invited the artist’s as Bennett would have engaged his topics, through research, prior experience and so forth.From painting to performance lecture – Bennett’s diverse oeuvre will be addressed and time and place are celebrated.
