Victoria Miro Gallery

07 June - 11 July
In The Vanity of Small Differences Perry explores his fascination with taste and the visual story it tells of our interior lives in a series of six tapestries at Victoria Miro and three programmes called Grayson Perry on Taste to be broadcast on Channel 4 in June. The artist goes on a safari amongst the taste tribes of Britain, to gather inspiration for his artworks, literally weaving the characters he meets into a narrative partly inspired by Hogarth's A Rake's Progress.

As the only pub in the British Isles to bear the name, The Island Queen really is one of a kind. Tucked away on Islington's quiet backstreets, "the Queen" is a quaint oasis of comfy sofas, high ceilings and intriguing original features reminiscent of a classic London gin palace. Our deceptively bijou bar serves a gargantuan range of speciality drinks, while our colonial-inspired interior - embellished by etched glass and hand-painted mirrors - makes for a uniquely cosy backdrop in which to savour them.

Even amidst the bustle of Bloomsbury, it's hard to miss the Marquis Cornwallis. With a drinks list as prestigious as its namesake's bloodline, the grandeur of the period mansion is only outshone by the splendour of what's on offer inside. As you sip on one of our fine speciality beers or maybe a glass of crisp sauvignon, make like a marquis and take a turn around our drawing room upstairs - it's like the living room you've always wanted.
