With little space at the bar at their restaurant Les Trois Garcons, they needed somewhere for guests to have a drink before or after their meal, so when a defunct meat packing factory became available in 2003 on Whitby Street just behind the restaurant, Hassan, Michel and Stefan took it on to convert the building into a cocktail bar serving Japanese tapas style food. The space is long. A succession of themed areas such as the Baroque, the Cage, and the Gold Room were created so that guests can experience a different area each time they visit.
