Transition Gallery is a not-for-profit space run by artist Cathy Lomax. It has a rolling programme of innovative shows that combine emerging and more established artists. The gallery has given first shows to many artists that go on to establish international reputations such as Stella Vine. Transition also publishes the magazines Garageland and Arty, and occasionally books through its imprint Transition Editions.
