Both artist’s create mixed-media installations using industrial, man-made materials or those that foreground aspects of art production to examine the possibilities of materiality, process and the performative aspect of artistic production. The performativity of each artists selected materials are investigated through the process of their own actions and the qualities inherent of their selected materials in practices that inevitably extend to asking for the active – both physical and conceptual - engagement of the viewer.
Bettina Buck (1974) currently lives and works in Berlin where Dutch artist Peggy Franck (1978) also has a studio.

Rokeby is an independent commercial gallery for contemporary art, exhibiting work by UK based and international artists.
Rokeby was launched in April 2005 by Beth and Edward Greenacre, initially located on Store Street, WC1.
