GET CARTA brings together eight contemporary artists linked by their use of mapping in their varied practices concerned with social, political and cultural structures. However, rather than simply present artists who use the form, or the 'look' of the map, GET CARTA aims more specifically to investigate the artists' use of, or reliance on, these explorations carried out previously by others.

Karin Janssen Project Space is an independent exhibition space, run and programmed by Dutch artist Karin Janssen. It provides a platform for emerging and more established artists, and aims to accommodate discussions with a local, national and international audience. Karin Janssen Project Space is dedicated to experiment, with a focus on, but not limited to, drawing. The project space aims to promote and support the production of new work; therefore the exhibitions are often not curated as such, but a result of collaboration and cross-pollination between artists.
