Centre for Recent Drawing
-
C4RDs purpose is to make space for drawing. By providing a web service and an independent non-commercial exhibition space in London dedicated to the exhibition of recent drawing, it seeks to maintain the visibility of a characteristically humanist mode of creativity; to explore the boundaries of the medium of drawing; and to facilitate access and discussion for current drawing practice independent of structural forces in commercial and educational settings. It is funded by anonymous private donation and is not aligned with any educational or museum institution. Seeking a balanced programme, C4RD welcomes submissions from those with a particular interest in drawing as a core experience from within and outside the arts.

Trullo restaurant opened in June 2010, and offers a simple, seasonally focused, Italian inspired menu that changes daily. Fresh hand-made pasta and our charcoal grill are the counterpoints of the menu at Trullo, the pasta rolled minutes before service, and the fish and meat cooked over burning coals.
Since the end of August, we have expanded our kitchen and opened the downstairs dining room (previously Trullo Downstairs) to serve the Trullo restaurant menu. This has meant we have more tables to offer throughout the night. We cannot guarantee which floor you will be sitting on.

The whole pub's a stage', as we like to say at the Hen & Chickens Theatre Bar: a small but perfectly formed North London venue with a rich history of stand-up comedy. From upcoming theatre groups to the likes of Russell Brand and Jimmy Carr, acts at 'the Chicks' have proved as wonderfully diverse as our list of speciality drinks. Enjoy the best of the fringe over your favourite tipple and embrace both the characters treading our boards and those propping up the stage.
