20 April - 27 May
GLISS is a newly commissioned solo project for the third instalment of Cell Project Space's CYcLORAMA programme by the artist Benedict Drew. Benedict Drew works across video, performance, sound and other media. His work uses the apparatus of film, video and music to test and reflect upon the relationships we have with technology and its oscillation between the exalted and the commonplace, between desire and redundancy. Within the exhibition GLISS Drew attempts to highlight the slippage of meaning and physical simulacra of natural and technological phenomena.

A CYcLE CLUB solo project for CYcLORAMA. This exhibition will be Angelo Plessas' first solo exhibition in the UK. The majority of the artist's works are unique websites that present an interactive experience for the viewer. Therefore the moving image on screen becomes a unique intimate experience between artwork and the audience. The artist's exclusively online works automatically reach a greater audience using the enormous speed of the internet to create a powerful social and 'what he calls' an open condition.
