Alternative Arts invests in new artists & new ideas and makes the arts highly accessible to the public. We produce a wide ranging annual programme of arts events, festivals & exhibitions in East London including photomonth, the East London Photography Festival, the Spitalfields Literary Festival celebrating women’s writing, Alternative Fashion Week and the Spitalfields Show and Green Fair. Café 1001
The Café 1001 coffee shop and dj bar is located on Dray Walk, a private road off Brick Lane (in the Old Truman Brewery).
