About the venue

Simon Oldfield Contemporary Art aims to work with the very best artists and realise ambitious projects across multiple locations.

We have exhibited work by Ben Ashton, Polly Morgan, Michael Armitage, Katy Kirbach and soon we will exhibit Tim Ellis.
In October 2009 we open a pop-up gallery at 17 Osborn Street, with Ben Ashton’s first solo show. In this former monumental stonemason’s showroom, Ashton will exhibit new paintings and sculptures that explore the notion of celebrity throughout history.
Katy Kirbach’s work is due to appear on the Royal Academy Christmas card. Tim Ellis’ latest series is to be exhibited in Saatchi’s “Newspeak: British Art Now” and Ben Ashton is currently exhibiting alongside Antony Gormley.
We use part of our profit to support charitable organisations including The Whitechapel Gallery and we run a subsidised studio programme for young artists.
